Ho Eng is an associate in the firm’s dispute resolution and employment law practice group. He graduated with a LLB (Hons) from King’s College London after receiving the Malaysian Law Scholarship awarded by the University of London International Programmes. He was also a recipient of the Cambridge Outstanding Learner Award, Top in the World for Law (AS Level). He was admitted and enrolled as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court in 2020.
He has been involved in a wide variety of employment matters, ranging from corporate due diligence on employment and human resources matters, to representing employers in unfair dismissal claims at the Industrial Court. Ho Eng also advises clients on matters relating to workforce reduction and restructuring exercises, managing misconduct and poor performance, human resources policies and procedures, pandemic related issues, and risk mitigation measures to minimise employment disputes. He has experience in commercial litigation, having also acted for companies in disputes involving breach of contract and fraud.
